Purpose:
In keeping with the Association's mandate of preserving and interpreting
the history of Westmount, the WHA is working to expand its collections,
bring its holdings up to current preservation standards, and broaden its
research into Westmount's past.
Our
collection: Located in the Westmount Public Library, the WHA
Archives includes approximately 1800 photographs, along with smaller collections
of ephemera, pamphlets and personal papers. As a further aid to researchers
we have extensive subject files on topics
relating to the history of Westmount.
Information
requests: The Archives is open to researchers by appointment.
